Experience the peace, beauty, and awe of the High Country from this stunning three-level log home, thoughtfully designed for comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable moments with family and friends. Just a very short drive away, Brookshire Park offers walking paths, open green space, and access to the scenic Watauga River, perfect for an easy outing close to home.
The main level features a spacious open living room with soaring cathedral, exposed-beam ceilings, a beautiful stone gas-log fireplace, and a TV for cozy movie nights. Step out onto the large covered deck to unwind, dine outdoors, or simply soak in the sweeping mountain views. The fully equipped kitchen offers granite countertops, ample space for meal prep, and a dining table for eight, making it easy to enjoy meals together as a group. This level also includes a convenient half bath and a generous king suite with its own TV and an ensuite bathroom featuring a tub/shower combination and double vanities.
The upper level includes a large bedroom furnished with two queen beds and a twin bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for groups or families. Nearby is a private room with two twin-over-double bunk sets—great for kids or additional guests. A full bathroom serves this level, and each bedroom is equipped with its own TV.
The lower level offers a spacious den and entertainment area complete with a pool table, shuffleboard, and a video arcade. This floor also includes a king suite with a full private bathroom. The laundry room is conveniently located off the game/entertainment area. There is also access to the lower deck, where a 6-person hot tub awaits—perfect for relaxing beneath the mountain sky.
Rosey Outlook offers plenty of space, comfort, and entertainment, all while being ideally located less than 10 minutes from Boone’s dining and shopping and Appalachian State University. You’re just 20 minutes from Main Street Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, the Blue Ridge Parkway, outlet shopping, with Ski Beech, Sugar Mountain, Hawksnest Tubing and Ziplining, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and other top High Country attractions within a 30–45 minute drive.
After a day filled with adventure, you’ll love coming home to the warm charm and mountaintop serenity of Rosey Outlook.
- This home allows up to four mature, crate-trained dogs for an additional rent of $25 per night per pet plus taxes.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- You may purchase firewood for the outdoor firepit from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log. There is no refund for unused firewood.

- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Rosey Outlook has a septic rated for three bedrooms but also has one additional private sleeping area.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains required during times of snow/ice- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. The last two tenths of a mile is a small, gravel road.
- Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions.
- Host is not responsible for items left in the home.
- Please note that the distances shown on OTA’s map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
