Windsurfing, kite surfing, and stand-up paddleboarding are popular activities, thanks to the favorable winds and excellent facilities. Diving is also a must-do, with the island's underwater world teeming with marine life and offering fascinating dive sites, including shipwrecks and caves.
Bol's heritage is rich and well-preserved, with the Dominican monastery, founded in the 15th century, being a highlight. Strolling through the town's narrow streets, visitors will encounter charming stone houses, small squares, and local shops that exude a Mediterranean ambiance.
The town is also a gateway to exploring the rest of Brač, which boasts olive groves, vineyards, and the Vidova Gora, the highest peak of all the Croatian islands. The local wine, particularly the white Pošip and red Plavac Mali, is a perfect complement to any meal.
For a more secluded experience, visitors can take a short boat trip to the nearby Paklina Islands, a group of islets with hidden coves and crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling away from the crowds.
