Outdoor Areas: Step outside and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery, with glimpses of Lake Wakatipu adding to the magic of the setting. The private outdoor space offers a peaceful garden retreat where you can soak up the fresh alpine air. Whether it’s a slow morning coffee on the patio, an afternoon basking in the sun, or an evening spent stargazing, this outdoor haven provides the perfect backdrop for moments of pure relaxation. Location: Explore the nearby attractions and activities with adventure and relaxation at your fingertips, with a 20 minute drive or 10 minute water taxi to the centre of Queenstown. Guest Access: Arrival instructions will be sent to you 48 hours prior to arrival. Interaction: We will be available to answer any questions you may have prior or during your stay. The Tahuna Team will also be on call for any urgent needs after 5 pm. Neighborhood: Kelvin Heights is a beautiful and peaceful area located in Queenstown, offering stunning views of Lake Wakatipu, the Kawarau River, The Remarkables, Coronet Peak, and the surrounding mountains. These breathtaking views can be enjoyed along the main Peninsula Road and the neighbouring streets throughout the area. At the end of the peninsula sits the renowned Queenstown Golf Club, proudly positioned on the Kelvin Heights peninsula. The area also features scenic public walkways and cycleways, lakeside sculptures, local historic sites, and a popular sheltered beach and boating area, making it a wonderful place to relax and explore. Getting Around: There is one off-street car space and plenty of free on-street parking. There is a public bus stop located on Peninsula Road about 5 minutes walk from the apartment. You can also catch the water taxi from Bay View (located 10 minute walk from the apartment) which takes you to Queenstown CBD. Other things to note: Must climb stairs to get to and from the property. Privacy: The owners of the main home are never in at the same time of a booking; if they are for any reason, we will notify you, and your stay will still be private. We kindly ask that you respect our neighbor’s by keeping noise to a minimum at all times, particularly between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am. In accordance with Queenstown Council regulations, the following rules apply: No amplified sound or music is permitted in outdoor living areas between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am. Outdoor living areas must be vacated between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am. During the hours of 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, neighbor’s or the property management company may contact the council to report any noise disturbances or concerns.
