DETAILS: Located in River Bank Lodge, a tranquil condo development overlooking Keystone Resort in River Run Village, this 2-bedroom luxury retreat with its own exterior entrance lies a short walk from the River Run Gondola and local shops and restaurants.
Newly updated throughout, it’s styled in 1920s minimalist modern decor with glass and chrome accent furniture and bold artwork. The single-level romantic condo combines the coziness of an alpine lodge with the ambiance of an upscale hotel, with arguably the best views available in River Run.
Two walls of picture windows in the living area reveal close-up ski slope views and a spectacular view of Buffalo Mountain. All of this sits over eight acres of tranquil and active beaver ponds, which create marshlands full of wildlife—moose, deer, elk, foxes, muskrats, all forms of water foul, and of course, beavers. Beyond the ponds is an unobstructed view of Dercum Mountain. A chic leather sofa and twin leather club chairs face a cozy gas fireplace and 4K Smart TV at one end of the room. At the other, a 4-seat dining table sits by a full-length mirror, with mountain views through French glass doors leading to the large furnished deck with southern exposure, partially shaded by pine trees. April through October is the most active time to view the wildlife.
Just off the living area is a galley kitchen including quartz countertop and backsplash, with new appliances and touches of home, like a bright tea kettle and French press coffee maker.
Ideal for couples or a small group of friends, this condo sleeps up to 6 guests:
