The former farmhouse sleeps up to 15 guests across its seven inviting bedrooms, five of which feature private bathrooms. The ground-floor is home to two air-conditioned bedrooms with queen-size double beds – we especially love the original 17th century press in one of the rooms. There are another two double bedrooms with air-conditioning upstairs, one of which is a duplex with an additional sofa-bed. The final three bedrooms (two twins and one double) feature fans and are also on the first-floor – guests can expect wood beamed ceilings, characterful furnishings and a true sense of restful charm throughout. The large estate will enchant guests of every age. This is authentic Catalonia, an ideal region for wonderful walks, hikes, cycling (especially along the Pla de l’Estany greenway) and trail running. Less than half an hour away, Lake Banyoles offers a perimeter walking path, birdwatching opportunities, kayaking and summer swimming spots such as Caseta de Fusta (18km). Don’t miss the beautiful Romanesque church in the lakeside hamlet of Porqueres. The town of Banyoles (14km) itself will enchant you with its medieval centre, museums and festivities.
