The Pilos beach just 150m away, is honoured with the blue flag award since this program started and organized through the season with all sorts of water sports,sun beds and umbrellas, showers, WC’s, provided for free, and a beach restaurant. The villa is served by a cozy little restaurant dedicated to the residents of the complex. In addition, guests may also benefit from the various amenities and services of the nearby hotel, including various restaurants, a tennis court, children’s club etc. At 800 m is the village Istron, famous for its beaches, with a lot of tavernas and supermarkets.
Villa Tania is a 104 m2 residence arranged in two storeys. Ground floor hosts 2 bedrooms with their respective bathrooms (one en suite with a battub and one equipped with a shower), a well-appointed living room and kitchen area. A wooden staircase leads to an open bedroom with an en suite bathroom, a dressing room and a private balcony. The wooden roof combined with the playful marble but most importantly the sense of isolation creates a romantic ambience The house itself is built on a vantage point on top of the complex offering maximum privacy and mesmerizing views over the surrounding hills and the bay.
The whole villa is tiled with magnificent Volos pink marble creating a sense of luxury. The spacious living room combines a siting area with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. It has comfortable sitting furniture; 28” LCD satellite TV, home cinema/stereo, free Wi-Fi Internet connection, telephone and a fireplace. The villa is well insulated and fully air – conditioned. Its orientation (south to southwest) secures the ideal amount of sunshine for the whole season.
Its main terrace, is built around the private pool, sized approximately 8 x 4 in meters, a sunbathing area, with shaded areas designed to offer privacy, a parasol and sun lounges. Those who enjoy dining alfresco can take advantage of the marble top table placed on the terrace (barbecues are available upon request).
Villa Tania is an ideal location to visit interesting places around the area. To name but a few: to the east Gournia, a well maintained Minoan village; the fishermen village Mochlos, with antiquities from every historical period; the picturesque village Lastros; Sitia harbour and the Venetian castle Kazarma; Paleokastro, with a still unexplored Minoan Palace; Vai, the only natural palm forest of Europe; Agios Nikolaos town to shop and visit the museum; Spinalonga, the leper island; Panagia Kera, a 13 century temple with fresco icons; Plateau of Katharo, known for the relics of mini-elephants and mini-hippopotamus.
