Set in the heart of Talloires, just moments from the lakefront, La Maison de Talloires offers an effortlessly charming base from which to enjoy one of the most enchanting corners of Lake Annecy.
Behind its traditional facade lies a trio of thoughtfully designed apartments, each blending comfort and conviviality in equal measure, ideal for extended families or groups of friends seeking to spend days exploring together, yet with private space to unwind.
Across its three self-contained apartments, the house accommodates 10 guests (plus an additional 2-3 guests using sofa-beds for a supplement). The ground-floor studio, with queen-size bed offers a cosy retreat for 2 guests, complete with an open-plan modern kitchen, bathroom and air conditioning. On the first floor, Apartment II sleeps another 2 guests featuring a compact yet stylish living area and an open-plan kitchen-dining space alongside a separate air-conditioned en suite bedroom.
Crowning the property, the 2-bedroom apartment is a true highlight. A generous open-plan living space with exposed beams and pretty little balconies offers views over the village rooftops and glimmers of the lake. Here, a piano and lounge area invite relaxed evenings after a day of lakefront adventure. With two bedrooms (one with an additional mezzanine sleeping area), two bathrooms and a modern open kitchen, this apartment offers comfort and flexibility for 4-6 guests. As an added bonus, the house also has its own little outdoor terrace just across the lane with a barbecue and small table.
This traditional house sits at the vibrant heart of Talloires, where the rhythm of village life unfolds just beyond the windows. Cafés, shops, restaurants and a weekly summer market lie within steps, while the lakeside, just a couple of minutes’ walk away, offers swimming spots, summer water sport and boat trips. From cinema screenings and spa visits to paragliding and hiking through the Roc de Chêre Reserve, the region promises both relaxation and adventure.

Studio Apartment I (35m2, 2 guests plus additional guest subject to a supplement)
Ground-Floor

Apartment II Interiors (2 guests plus additional adult/two children subject to a supplement)

Beside the crystal-clear waters of Lake Annecy, this charming Savoyard village invites you to embrace its relaxed rhythm and surrounding beauty. From the moment you step outside La Maison de Talloires, located in the very heart of the village, you’re greeted by the hum of village life.
Wander just a few steps to find a bakery, a grocery store and a handful of cafes and restaurants with terraces where you can while away the afternoon with a glass of local wine. On Thursday mornings in the summer months, the village awakens with the colour and chatter of its vibrant little market, perfect for sampling local cheeses, honey, olives and seasonal produce. It’s an ideal way to stock up for a lakeside picnic or gourmet evening in and it’s on your doorstep.
A few minutes’ walk brings you to the edge of Lake Annecy, where the possibilities for summer adventure and leisure are endless. Try your hand at paddleboarding, rent a boat or embrace the thrill of wakeboarding at the local sailing club. Alternatively, step aboard the summer water shuttle and glide across the lake to Annecy’s old town, a treasure trove of cobbled lanes and canals.
For those on two wheels, a scenic cycle route loops around the entire lake, passing through Talloires and offering breathtaking panoramas. This is a superb way to reach lakeside villages and nearby beaches such as Plage d’Angon and Plage de la Brune (do note, entry fees usually apply to lakeside beaches in the summer).
If you’re seeking adrenaline, the surrounding Alps deliver in spades. From paragliding and rock climbing to the dramatic Via Ferrata, there’s no shortage of excitement. Families will love Acro’ Aventures Talloires (5km) with its treetop challenges and orienteering trails, while nature lovers can explore the cascading Angon Waterfalls or hike the wooded trails of Roc de Chère and Mont Veyrier.
In winter, the nearby resorts of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand promise snow-covered thrills for skiers and snowboarders alike, a short drive from your village home.
