Buttercup Cottage is a beautifully converted one-bedroom barn hideaway on Exmoor, blending rustic charm with modern luxury. Once part of a working dairy barn, it now offers a warm, stylish escape surrounded by peaceful countryside views, sleeping up to two guests in a super king-size bed. The open-plan living space features earthy tones and natural textures for a calming atmosphere, with a deep green country kitchen well equipped for home cooking, including fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and toaster, plus all the crockery, cutlery and cooking basics needed. A wood-burning stove adds rustic charm and warmth, with logs included at no extra cost, alongside oil-fired underfloor heating throughout. Smart TVs are provided in both the living area and bedroom, with Wi-Fi available throughout. The luxurious bathroom invites relaxation with a copper freestanding bath and rainfall shower. Towels, bed linen, duvets and blankets are all provided, along with a hairdryer. Outside, a gravelled patio and courtyard area offers chairs and a fire pit, overlooking a tranquil pond with koi carp and views across the surrounding Exmoor hills, perfect for lazy mornings or evening drinks as the sun sets. This outdoor area is not enclosed, and the property is approached via a gravelled path with steps up to the front door. Once inside, the cottage is all on one level. Free off-road parking is available just opposite the garden area. Dogs are warmly welcomed at no extra charge, with treats and a cosy bed provided for four-legged guests. Please note the property is not suitable for children and, due to the gravel path and steps without a handrail, may not be suitable for guests with restricted mobility. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher and first-aid kit are provided.
