Broomy Barn, Brompton Regis

Broomy Barn is a beautifully converted detached barn on a working farm in the hills of Exmoor, offering comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for up to eight guests with stunning views towards Wimbleball Lake. The property has four bedrooms and four bathrooms: three king-size rooms and one twin. Bedroom one has an en-suite with shower over bath, bedroom two has an en-suite shower, bedroom three has two single beds with a shower room just outside on the landing, and bedroom four has a king-size bed with an en-suite wet room. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen/dining room with a TV and DVD player, plus a separate lounge with TV, DVD player and table football. Three of the bedrooms also have TVs. There is a utility room and downstairs cloakroom. The kitchen is fitted with all new appliances including an electric range cooker, American-style fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, along with a good supply of cookware, crockery and utensils. Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are all included, with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. Outside, there is a private, enclosed garden to the rear with outdoor furniture, plus a garden and large parking area to the front, ideal for enjoying the views over the fields towards Wimbleball Lake. Ample parking is available on the drive for four or more cars. A welcome hamper with homemade scones, clotted cream, local jam, milk and basic store cupboard essentials is provided on arrival, tailored for Christmas and special occasions. At Christmas, the barn is decorated with a real tree, and mince pies with a chilled bottle of bubbly await guests. The property is suitable for children but not suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility, as access involves stairs.
