The Cider Barn, Waterrow

The Cider Barn is a newly converted, spacious holiday cottage sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms. Two king-size bedrooms are on the ground floor, one with an en-suite toilet and hand basin, the other next to the family bathroom, while a twin bedroom is upstairs. The ground floor family bathroom features a bath, separate shower, hand basin and toilet. The open-plan kitchen offers far-reaching countryside views and is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, under-counter fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere, along with cookware, utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. The cosy sitting room has exposed beams and a wood-burner, with a starter basket of logs provided. Central heating runs throughout, and electricity and heating costs are included. A TV with Freeview and DVD player is provided, along with wifi, an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are included. Outside, there is a private, enclosed gravel garden with south-facing decking, a luxury eight-seater private hot tub, garden furniture, loungers and a BBQ. Off-road parking is available beside the barn on the drive. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, maximum of two per booking, for a supplement of GBP 10 each; dogs must be kept on leads at all times due to farm animals and wildlife. The property is suitable for children, with a cot available on request. It may also suit guests with limited mobility, as it has two ground floor bedrooms and a ground floor bathroom, though there are steps down into the garden and it is not suitable for wheelchair users. At Christmas, the cottage is elegantly decorated with a festive tree, and the log burner adds a cosy atmosphere. Guests can pre-book a food order for delivery ahead of arrival to ease festive season shopping.
