Grist Mill is a semi-detached period cottage in the village of Dunster, offering three double bedrooms plus a cosy loft snug with sofa-bed, ideal for two further guests or flexible sleeping arrangements. The property is best suited to groups of up to 6, though it can accommodate up to 8. Once a working mill, the cottage is built over the leat that still feeds the nearby National Trust Dunster Working Water Mill. There are two bathrooms: a ground-floor bathroom with underfloor heating, double-ended bath, WC and basin, and an upstairs shower room with WC and basin. Two bedrooms also have hand-basins. The large sitting room has a wood burner (initial fuel included) and comfortable seating for six, plus a TV with Freeview and Netflix. The newly fitted kitchen includes a double oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and under-counter fridge, with a breakfast table seating six. A contemporary garden room with bi-fold doors and an oil radiator offers further dining space for up to eight. Outside, the large private garden is divided into two areas: a walled and fenced patio with outdoor table and chairs and a swing seat, which can be gated for child safety, and a further grassed area with mature trees and shrubs running alongside the leat towards Park Street. Please note the leat is unsuitable for paddling and children must be supervised in this part of the garden. Private off-road parking for one car is available in an attached garage, which also has power points for EV charging and space for bicycle storage. Additional parking can be found nearby in public pay and display car parks. Wifi, heating and electricity are included, along with towels and bed linen. A small welcome supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits is provided, along with basic cleaning materials. The cottage is strictly non-smoking, and pets are not permitted.
