Yenworthy Barn, Countisbury

Yenworthy Barn is a characterful converted barn on a working farm on the northern slopes of Exmoor National Park, offering direct access to the South West Coast Path and a wealth of walking routes from the door. Sleeping up to 10 guests plus a cot until the end of 2026 (reducing to a maximum of 8 from January 2027 when the bunk beds are removed), the property has four bedrooms across two levels: two doubles, one twin and a family room with a double and bunk beds. There are three bathrooms in total, including two en-suites. One double bedroom on the entrance level is accessible, with an en-suite shower room and shower chair provided. The upper ground floor entrance leads into a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area with a wood-burning fire, making it a wonderful space for groups to gather. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob, plus all the usual cookware and crockery. A utility room downstairs has a washing machine, dryer and ironing board. The living room has a television with Freeview, and wireless broadband is available throughout. A cot and high chair are provided, though bed linen for the cot is not included. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are all supplied. Electricity and central heating, fuelled by a biomass system, are included in the price, along with logs for the wood-burner. Outside there is a patio for sitting and eating out, plus an enclosed garden ideal for children and dogs, with further access to farm fields and streams for safe exploring. Parking is available for up to three cars directly outside the property, with additional nearby spaces if needed. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, up to a maximum of five, with a supplementary fee of GBP 15 per dog. As this is a working farm, dogs must be kept under control at all times and are not permitted on furniture, in bedrooms, or left alone in the property.
