Pebble Cottage, Dunster

Pebble Cottage is a beautifully renovated traditional cottage full of character, extended and updated to include a modern kitchen and open-plan living. It sleeps up to 4 guests across two first-floor bedrooms, one king-sized and one twin (which can be made into a super-king on request), served by a modern shower room with walk-in cubicle, plus a downstairs toilet and washbasin. The light, bright kitchen has a breakfast bar, tri-fold doors onto the garden, Bosch oven and hob, integrated fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine, along with a good range of cookware, crockery and cutlery. The open-plan dining and sitting room features a wood-burning log burner, a Smart TV with Blu-ray player, and board games for evenings in. Bed linen and bath sheets are provided, along with a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk and a few treats for canine guests, plus dishwasher and laundry tablets and firelighters. Wifi, electricity, heating and a starter basket of logs are included, with instant hot water via combi gas central heating. Outside is a private, fully enclosed, south-facing cottage garden accessed via the kitchen’s tri-fold doors, with a small patio area for morning coffee, four steps up to a further cobbled seating area surrounded by flowerbeds, a table, chairs and cushions, and a charcoal barbecue for outdoor dining. There is no allocated parking, though limited free roadside parking and a small pay-and-display car park are nearby, with larger car parks a short walk away in the village. One well-behaved dog is welcome for a supplement of GBP 25, with two small dogs possibly considered on request; dogs should be kept off the furniture and not left alone in the property. Cats are also welcome, though owners will need to bring their own litter tray. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, with board games and children’s DVDs provided; the twin room has a blackout blind.
