Located halfway between Oakville in Napa Valley and Glen Ellen in Sonoma County, this romantic Tuscan-style retreat is a one-of-a-kind historic estate. The property was featured on HGTV’s House Hunters on Vacation!

Exterior Details
Luxurious outdoor amenities, such as the great lawn, the bocce ball court, dining pergola, swimming pool with a sunken whirlpool spa, an outdoor shower and changing room, and fire pit, are enhanced by the backdrop of mature oak and pine trees that create a totally private environment.
Interior Details
As you enter the home, a curving staircase descends from the second floor, creating a graceful entryway, which opens to the various main floor rooms. The wall above, along with many corners of the estate, is hung with original art commissioned for the home.
Each room has windows and doors that open to the grounds. Rich green wooden exterior shutters imported from Italy are practical and decorative. The interior walls are hand-done in Venetian plaster with a soft, sand tone and the floors have radiant heat, making the house comfortable in any season.
The kitchen is well equipped for gourmet preparation or a simple and delicious meal of local ingredients. The kitchen is open to the dining area and its hand-hewn table and leather chairs.
Beyond the dining room is a media room/den with a large flatscreen TV and media center. A guest half-bath with copper sink and custom vanity is located between the kitchen and the downstairs bedroom.
Carved, rolling wood doors off the entryway of the house lead you into the front guest bedroom. This bedroom shares the downstairs half bathroom with the other rooms on the first floor. The two twin beds face the window to the lawn and vineyards and a window seat overlooks the garden.
A separate living room offers tufted leather couches with a slat table between them on a thick carpet.
The primary bedroom has a king bed with a linen headboard. The vaulted ceiling gives a feeling of space and intimacy at the same time. There is a glass door that opens to a petit balcony overlooking the bocce court.
A second upstairs bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The third upstairs bedroom has a fresh country quality and contains a queen bed. These 2 guest bedrooms share a spacious bath with two ceramic sinks and a custom marble counter.
There is onsite parking available for 3 vehicles.
