Tastefully furnished with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen the villas are ideal for families, group of friends and couples. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco and enjoy the panoramic view. Quiet and peaceful, yet only twenty minutes from the island’s capital.
The villas, one blue – one pink, benefit from a private eco-pool and are located just four minutes walk from the beach of Agia Paraskevi, where you will find a tavern. If you want to explore the island or go shopping a car is recommended.
For something more lively there is always the famous Livadaki beach which is only 2km away. With a snack bar, sandy beach, water sports and volley ball courts, Livadaki is a great place to party or just simply relax.
Samos, a luscious green island, an Αegean gem, with its majestic green mountains and gorgeous beaches is the home of Pythagoras and Aristarchos. I’ve finally arrived! As soon as I step off the plane, this island’s aura totally surrounds me!... It’s so apparent! I’m so looking forward to Verny’s Villa, situated north east of the island, at Agia Paraskevi gulf, 24kms from the airport and only about a 40 minute drive away.
On my way now and driving through the beautiful and very historical town of Pythagorio. I stop and gaze for a moment.. Wonderful! Continuing I stop to do my necessary shopping at huge supermarkets situated on the main road towards the capital. Easy!

About the area
İzmir, a gem on the Aegean coast of Turkey, is a city that offers a delightful mix of history, culture, and modernity, making it an enchanting destination for travelers. Known as the "Pearl of the Aegean," İzmir's inviting climate, vibrant streets, and rich heritage beckon visitors from around the world.
The city's history is palpable in the ancient Agora, an open-air museum showcasing the remains of a Roman marketplace. Nearby, the Kadifekale, or Velvet Castle, stands atop Mount Pagos, offering panoramic views of the city and the bay. İzmir's historical significance is further highlighted by its proximity to the ancient cities of Ephesus and Pergamon, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and can be easily visited on day trips.
İzmir's Kemeraltı Market is a bustling bazaar that has been in operation since the 17th century. Here, travelers can wander through a labyrinth of shops and stalls selling everything from spices and textiles to jewelry and leather goods. The market is also home to the Hisar Mosque, a stunning example of Ottoman architecture.
The city's waterfront promenade, known as the Kordon, is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Lined with palm trees, cafes, and restaurants, it's the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll, savor a meal with a view of the sea, or simply watch the sunset.
İzmir is also renowned for its cultural scene. The İzmir International Fair, held every year in September, is one of the oldest trade shows in Turkey and transforms the city into a hub of art, music, and entertainment. The İzmir State Opera and Ballet and the İzmir State Symphony Orchestra offer high-quality performances for classical music and dance enthusiasts.
For those interested in religious history, İzmir is home to one of the Seven Churches of Revelation, the Church of Saint Polycarp, which is a significant site for Christian pilgrims.
Food in İzmir is a reflection of its diverse influences, with a cuisine that includes fresh seafood from the Aegean, succulent kebabs, and the city's famous boyoz pastry. The Alsancak district, with its lively bars and eateries, is the heart of İzmir's nightlife and a great place to sample local dishes and wines.
In essence, İzmir is a city that offers an alluring combination of ancient history, cultural richness, and modern Turkish life. Its warm hospitality, scenic beauty, and array of attractions make it a destination that promises an unforgettable experience for every traveler.
