Also on the ground floor 4 spacious bedrooms with distinctive architecture and interior design, floor-to-ceiling windows and a total of 8 bathrooms. The modern furniture has been carefully chosen to symbolize the island’s calm yet enjoyable atmosphere. You will arrive at Palms Welcome in the mainland, which offers a secured parking space from where one skipper will organize the boat transfer from the mainland to Diaporos Island. This service is private, complimentary and available any time. The journey between the meeting point and the island lasts about 10 minutes on quiet and soft sea all year round. A private beach with pontoon access awaits and is ideal for secured anchorage. The natural protection from winds is offered by the closed windresistant cove and the calm waters that offer privacy and safety to a wide range of boats, under any conditions and in all seasons. Upon your arrival at the island, the residence lies only a few meters away from your arrival point. You will have at your disposal and included in the price of each villa a self-service 5m boat with outboard 30hp engine. The boat remains at your disposal all along your stay, and doesn’t need a license to drive, allowing you to go for fishing, visit the islands around or even go until Ormos Panagias, local village 15 minutes away to enjoy one of the restaurants around. Diaporos Island is opposite Vourvourou and only 10 km from the municipality of Ag. Nikolaos in Sithonia. Vourvourou is located 96 km and 70 minutes’ drive from the Macedonia International Airport of Thessaloniki. The area covers 3.2 square kilometers with a big natural bay, which is 700 meters long and serves as a mooring spot for the boats. The bay ends in shallow waters that always remain warm and are therefore suitable for swimmers.
