Set against rolling desert hills, the spacious pool stretches across the patio, with an in-ground hot tub at one end and uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. Whether you’re spending the afternoon swimming, lounging with a book or simply taking in the scenery, there’s little reason to rush anywhere. The fully fenced acre provides a generous outdoor setting, with manicured grounds, comfortable lounge seating and a BBQ grill for relaxed meals at home. As evening approaches, settle into one of the Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit beside the pool. From here, you can watch the changing colors of the sky reflect across the water, with the desert hills beyond. After dark, the softly illuminated pool and open sky make the outdoor spaces just as inviting as they are during the day. -Living Area- The living room is bright, open and thoughtfully furnished, with a sculptural white sofa, cognac leather accent chairs and natural textures that bring warmth to the home’s modern architecture. Wide sliding doors connect the room directly to the patio, making it easy to move between indoor comfort and the fresh desert air. It’s a welcoming place to settle in after a day exploring Joshua Tree, whether that means putting on a movie on the Smart TV, enjoying a quiet morning on the sofa or catching up with friends before dinner. -Kitchen and Dining- Designed for cooking and gathering, the kitchen centers around a generous black marble island with breakfast bar seating, contemporary pendant lighting and a suite of Café appliances. White cabinetry and open wood shelving keep the space light and uncluttered, while the fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals at home easy. Start the morning with coffee at the island while everyone decides how to spend the day, or prepare dinner together without missing the conversation in the living room. The adjacent wood dining table seats six beneath a wide picture window overlooking the desert hills, a particularly lovely setting for a leisurely breakfast or dinner as the sun goes down. -Bedrooms and Bathrooms- Elevate has two king bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, offering a comfortable arrangement for couples or friends sharing the home. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, allowing guests to enjoy time together throughout the day while still having a private space to retreat to. The first bedroom embraces the home’s understated modern style, with a black-framed king bed, woven pendant lights and warm neutral artwork. The second has a softer feel, with a wood headboard, bedside lighting and a calm, welcoming palette. The bathrooms continue the contemporary aesthetic with dark marble finishes, walk-in showers and illuminated mirrors. An additional guest half bathroom adds convenience when everyone is spending time in the shared living spaces. -Game Room- For a change of pace, head to the dedicated game room, a separate hangout space with a pool table, foosball, comfortable sectional seating and its own TV. The converted garage features a large glass door that opens toward the pool area, allowing the fun to move easily between indoors and out. Challenge friends to a few rounds of pool, start a foosball tournament or settle onto the sofas to watch a game. It’s an especially nice addition for groups, giving everyone another place to gather without having to leave the property. -Surrounding Area- Elevate sits in a tucked-away, peaceful neighborhood, convenient to town yet private. Joshua Tree National Park, Pioneertown and Palm Springs all make easy outings. Spend the days hiking and exploring, then come back up the hill for sunset. The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies. A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed. Please note that Elevate is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms. -House-Specific Rules- ► No external speakers, music or excessive noise, please. Any noise-related fines or disturbance fees will be passed on to the guest. ► To protect your health and safety, as well as the hot tub and linens, all guests are asked to shower before and after using the hot tub. Please do not allow pets of any kind in the hot tub. Plastic cups are provided for outdoor use, and no glass is permitted in or around the water. If the water is left in poor condition due to misuse, an additional cleaning or maintenance fee may be charged. -Pool Heating Fee- Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you’d like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours’ notice to heat the pool. ► July through September: $250 per day ► October through June: $300 per day During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis. -Hot Tub Heating- To help manage propane costs, there is a $50 per day fee to heat the hot tub. Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature. -Pool and Hot Tub Service- The pool and hot tub are serviced Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard. -Pet Policy- We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed. -Local Experiences- We’ve handpicked an incredible selection of local vendors to enhance your Joshua Tree stay, offering a mix of relaxation, adventure, and everything in between. Many services can come directly to the house, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable stay! -Wildlife & Safety- The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert. -Security Camera- For your security, there is an exterior camera located at the front of the home, facing the driveway, which monitors vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas. -Cell Service- Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property. -Damage Waiver Policy- Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
