Heaven’s View offers two sides of Pioneertown in one stay: a secluded, design-forward retreat surrounded by rugged desert hills and the energy of Pappy & Harriet’s just a short walk away. Spend afternoons soaking in the hot tub, take in the boulder-strewn landscape, then head out for dinner and live music before returning to the peace of your own desert hideaway.
Step inside and the landscape becomes part of the design. Soaring windows frame the rocky ridgelines, while warm wood, sculptural furniture, original-looking art pieces, and unexpected details create an atmosphere that feels more like a private art collector’s home than a typical vacation rental. Designed by Yves Kamioner and Michael Baiamonte, the interiors invite you to slow down and appreciate your surroundings, whether sharing a long dinner with friends, settling in with a good record, or simply watching the light change across the mountains.

-Outdoor Amenities-
The outdoor spaces are designed for enjoying the desert at your own pace. Follow the steps down to a dedicated relaxation terrace, where the hot tub, sun loungers, and comfortable seating overlook a landscape of boulder-covered hills and native desert plants.
Spend a warm afternoon cooling off in one of the two cowboy tubs, settle into a lounger with a book, or rinse away the desert dust in the outdoor shower. As evening approaches, the surrounding mountains catch the last light of the day, providing a beautiful backdrop for a soak in the hot tub.
Closer to the house, the propane grill makes it easy to prepare dinner without leaving the property. After dark, the outdoor terraces offer a wonderful place to enjoy the quiet and look up at the night sky.
Please note that the two cowboy tubs serve as the property’s pool rather than a traditional in-ground swimming pool. They are drained and unavailable from November through March. The surrounding desert landscape is natural and the property is not fully fenced.
-Living Area-
The living room has the relaxed sophistication of a thoughtfully curated retreat. High ceilings, expansive windows, and a mix of contemporary and vintage-inspired furnishings create a space that feels open yet inviting. A sculptural coffee table, leather seating, textured fabrics, and carefully chosen artwork add personality without competing with the scenery outside.
Gather on the sofa for a movie, settle into one of the lounge chairs for conversation, or leave the doors open to enjoy the desert breeze. With the mountains visible through the windows, even a quiet afternoon indoors feels connected to the landscape.
-Kitchen and Dining-
Cooking here comes with a view. A long picture window stretches above the kitchen sink, framing the surrounding hills like a landscape painting. Warm wood cabinetry, generous countertops, and a fully stocked kitchen make preparing meals at home both comfortable and enjoyable.
The dining area is particularly inviting for groups, with a long wooden table, playful orange chairs, and large glass doors overlooking the desert. Start the morning here over breakfast, gather for a homemade dinner after exploring Pioneertown, or enjoy a leisurely evening together before heading out to hear live music.
For a change of pace, the restaurants and atmosphere of Pioneertown are just a short walk away.
-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
Heaven’s View offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with each bedroom featuring its own private ensuite. This arrangement is especially appealing for couples traveling together or friends who appreciate having their own space at the end of the day.
Bedroom 1 features a king bed, while Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed. Both are located in the main house. The third bedroom, furnished with another king bed, is located in the separate casita, providing additional independence and a quieter place to retreat.
The bathrooms continue the home’s distinctive design, with refined finishes and thoughtful details. One features a freestanding soaking tub positioned beside tall windows, creating an especially peaceful place to unwind while looking out toward the desert.
The casita is available for reservations of three guests or more and is included in the property’s stated three-bedroom, three-bathroom total.
The home accommodates up to eight guests, but there are only three beds, providing standard sleeping arrangements for six. Groups of more than six guests will need to bring their own air mattress for the additional guests.
-Surrounding Area-
Heaven’s View is in Pioneertown, the Old West movie set turned desert destination, with Pappy & Harriet’s close enough to walk. La Copine, Joshua Tree National Park and the Integratron are all good outings. Between the live music, the boulders and the night sky, there is plenty to fill the days.
The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.
A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.
Heaven’s View is reached by dirt roads. Low-riding cars can make it if taken slowly.
-Cowboy Tubs-
The pool at Heaven’s View is a pair of cowboy tubs, not an in-ground pool. The cowboy tubs are drained and unavailable for guest use during the winter months (November through March) to prevent the filters from freezing and breaking.
-Guest Count and Beds-
The listing can accommodate up to 8 guests, but there are only 3 beds on the property. If you plan to have 8 guests, please bring your own air mattress for the additional 2 guests. The casita, which has the third bedroom, is available for bookings of 3 guests and up.
-EV Charger-
A charge of $20 per night will be added to your stay for use of the EV charger.
-House-Specific Rules-
► Approved early check-in and late check-out requests are $50 per hour.
► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.
► Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time. Please rinse off oils and lotions before entering, keep the cover on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tub, please.
-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The hot tub and cowboy tubs are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician’s busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.
-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner’s severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it’s important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.
