Neighborhood Alfamar is a quiet area with many tourist accommodations. It is super close to the world famous Falésia beach and from your apartment it is only a 5 minute walk. Characterised by its incredible red cliffs and over 6 km long, Falésia Beach is the perfect destination for a long walk on the beautiful soft sand while taking in the impressive rock formation all the way to the Resort of Vilamoura. You will find a few beach Bars along the way to sit and enjoy a drink and admire the stunning views. You have the very popular Zoomarine park in Guia and two water Parks one in Quarteira and the other in Lagoa. These parks are great days out for all the family. The lively resort of Albufeira only a 15-minute drive away if you want to try something different. This tranquil area is the perfect location for a peaceful getaway while being close enough to the lively tourist towns. Transit You can easily get around on foot or use public transport or taxi/uber to travel around town. If you wish to explore the larger Algarve area, a hire car is recommended.
