This spacious and comfortable apartment is located very close to the Farmers’ Market (Mercado dos Lavradores) and other tourist attractions, which makes it desirable for those wishing to discover the city on tour. The property has a maximum capacity of four people, in a double bedroom and a sofa bed available in the living room. In the common spaces of the building, there is a swimming pool, shared by the condominium, where you can enjoy the good weather and sunbathe in the company of friends and family! From the bedroom, you have access to a nice balcony with pool view, where you can eat your meals or read a book in a relaxing time. The house has a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. If you want to rent a car, the building has a garage where you can park. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW There are several cafes nearby. Most shops, malls, and supermarkets are a ten-minute walk away. This apartment is close to the Farmers Market, Old Town of Funchal and the Cathedral. From here you can explore on foot the various sights of our beautiful city. (eg Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) GETTING AROUND For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to get to the apartment is the transfer. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own in the airport! There are bus stops nearby to get you to the center of Funchal. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
