Our cabin offers a cozy and authentic escape into nature, which means you may occasionally encounter insects in or around the home. While we have regular professional pest control service, the cabin’s rustic design and natural surroundings mean it’s not sealed like a modern home. We do our best to keep things comfortable, but a little bit of nature might still find its way in.Please let us know if the "unwelcomed" critters need our attention!
Pets are allowed, we ask that they stay on leash while outdoors and pick up behind them when they use the
bathroom outside.
Trash cans will be located in an outdoor rubbermaid set up, on the side of the property.

We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You’ll be provided an access code to the front entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform messaging during the duration of your stay.
The property is 12 minutes Virginia Tech’s campus, about a 20–25 minute drive to Radford University, and roughly 30–35 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park. Downtown Blacksburg’s shops, dining, and local trails are also close by, making it a convenient spot for both campus visits and outdoor adventures.

This spacious log cabin offers a warm, rustic atmosphere with all the modern comforts you need for a relaxing stay.
Main Level: Features a bedroom with a full-size bed, a twin bed, and an additional twin trundle under the full-size bed. A full bathroom is also located on this floor, complete with a walk-in shower, a separate soaking tub, and a washer and dryer for your convenience. The main living areas flow openly, with a cozy seating space and easy access to the kitchen and dining areas.
Upstairs Level: A private bedroom with a queen bed and an en suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, offering comfort and privacy.
Basement Level: Includes a full-size bed and a full bathroom, plus a second full kitchen, making this level perfect for extended family or groups who want their own space.
Throughout the home, you’ll enjoy rustic log details, modern finishes, and plenty of room for family gatherings or quiet retreats. Spacious decks and inviting common areas provide additional spaces to relax and soak in the mountain surroundings.
The property is conveniently located just a few minutes from major highways, making it easy to reach from Interstate 81 and other main routes into Blacksburg. Guests will have no trouble getting in and out whether heading to Virginia Tech, Radford, or Claytor Lake. On-site parking is available directly at the property with plenty of space for multiple vehicles, so you can park close to the entrance and enjoy easy access throughout your stay.
