This house is located in the heart of Virginia’s New River Valley and is 30 minutes from the Rock House Marina in a small, quiet neighborhood. The home is right on Claytor Lake and has a dock for your own private access to the water. If you are visiting for more than just the lake, you are close to many other things as well, we are about 40 minutes to Virginia Tech, 30 minutes to Radford University, 48 minutes to the New River Trail, 32 Minutes from Draper Valley Golf Club, and located within 30 minutes of several wineries and breweries. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, an autumn get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat.

There are also several wineries within a short drive of Owens House, including Beliveau Estate Winery, Iron Heart Winery, and Chateau Morrisette Winery. These wineries offer tastings, tours, and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock is available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. Paddleboard available for guest use.
The home features three levels of living space, with four comfortable bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and a range of amenities designed to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
The main level features an open-concept living and dining area, complete with comfortable seating, a flat-screen TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher.
Step outside onto the spacious walk-out back porch, which offers stunning views of the lake and plenty of space for lounging, reading, or soaking up the sun. You can also start up a fire and roast a marshmallow in the firepit on the back patio!
The lower level features a cozy lounging area with a pull-out couch and a flat screen TV along with a bumper pool table. This space provides the perfect space for indoor entertainment on rainy days or lazy afternoons. Additionally, there are two bedrooms on this floor. Bedroom one includes a king bed along with a daybed for guests, while bedroom two has a twin-over -twin bunk and a queen bed to sleep more guests comfortably.
Feel free to use the laundry room on the lower level that is equipped with detergent and additional cleaning supplies.
Owens Oasis features four comfortable bedrooms, with sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to 12 guests.
On the main level, there is a bedroom with a king bed. Additionally, there is a full bath on this level for your convenience.
Upstairs, you’ll find the spectacular master bedroom overlooking Claytor Lake. The master bedroom features a king bed and a full bathroom. Additionally, there is a lounge area outside of the bedroom with a pull out sofa and seating for guests.
All four bedrooms at Owens Oasis are thoughtfully appointed with comfortable bedding, plenty of storage, and charming decor, providing a restful and inviting retreat after a day of outdoor adventure on the lake.
Owens Oasis is easily accessible by car and is conveniently located just off I-81 in Dublin, VA. If you are traveling by air, the closest airport is Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport, which is approximately 53 miles away.
Once you arrive at the property, you can park your car in the driveway, which has space for up to four cars. From there, you can easily access the main entrance of the house.
While there is no public transportation directly to the property, there are several taxi and ride-sharing services available in the area. Additionally, if you’re interested in exploring the local attractions, renting a car is highly recommended.
