Welcome to Papa Bear’s Pool Cabin—your ultimate mountain retreat in the Smokies, designed for relaxation, adventure, and memory-making. Located in scenic Black Bear Ridge Resort, this spacious getaway offers something for everyone—from cozy family dinners to action-packed game nights.
Step inside to a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a large dining table, and extra seating at the countertop bar—perfect for sharing meals and stories. The main level features an inviting open-concept living room with plush furniture, a warm electric fireplace, a large Smart TV, and oversized windows that flood the space with natural light.
Head upstairs to find all four bedrooms, including three primary suites with king beds and a bunk bed room with Queen-over-Queen bunks. All bathrooms have an attached full bathroom.
Downstairs is where the fun begins. The lower level is home to the private indoor heated pool and a game room loaded with arcade games, and a Smart TV—ideal for hours of entertainment. There’s also a half-bath on this level and easy access to the outdoor hot tub, where you can soak under the stars or relax with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife that often visits the surrounding woods!

* Bedroom #2 (Upper Level): A second spacious bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, smart TV, and plenty of storage space. The bedroom has an attached bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
* Bedroom #3 (Upper Level): An additional peaceful bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, storage space and a Smart TV. This bedroom includes a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
* Bedroom #4 (Upper Level): This spacious bedroom features Queen-over-Queen bunk beds. This room also comes with a large TV, storage space, and an attached full bathroom with a shower-tub combo.

* The fireplace is unavailable April 1 to October 1 (Standard for area cabins)
* We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps/shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to bring extras with you or prepare to pick them up during your stay!
*If you have a group larger than 12, our sister cabin ’Liam’s Landing’ is located in the same resort and sleeps up to 12 additional guests.

* We are unable to offer refunds due to weather or weather-related conditions, power outages, road conditions, or acts of God. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter conditions.
* We are unable to provide a late check-out without written approval. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $100.00 for each half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.
* The waterfall feature in the pool room isn’t currently operational.
