BEFORE YOU BOOK – IMPORTANT WINTER ACCESS INFO
Winter conditions in Duck Creek can be extreme. Snow and ice are very common, and the roads leading to the cabin are not always plowed immediately.
A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is absolutely REQUIRED to access the property during winter months.
This is for your safety and to ensure you can reach the cabin without difficulty.
Please do not book this property in winter if you do not have a proper 4x4/AWD vehicle.
Front-wheel and rear-wheel drive vehicles (even with chains) may not make it up the mountain roads.
We want your stay to be smooth, safe, and enjoyable — arriving prepared is key.
Damage Waiver: Property Manager includes a property damage protection waiver of $59 on each reservation, this may be included under the ’Cleaning Fee’ or ’Host Fee’ on some OTAs. The damage waiver covers damage to the property up to $1,500 so long as the damage is accidental and reported to Property Manager prior to your departure. It does not cover damage that is willful, the result of negligence, or damage caused by the misuse of household items. It also doesn’t cover unreported damage. Property Manager doesn’t charge our guests a refundable damage deposit in lieu of the waiver. Unlike a refundable damage deposit, the damage protection waiver is non-refundable.
