We welcome you to stay in our beautiful Dove Cottage, a charming village hideaway in the heart of Clifford Chambers, just a few minutes from historic Stratford-upon-Avon and offering the perfect blend of traditional character and modern comfort - the ideal escape for couples, small families, or anyone looking to unwind in a peaceful English village.
Step through the door into a cosy living room where you can relax after a day exploring the rolling countryside of Warwickshire. This then leads through into the bright open plan kitchen and dining area, well-equipped with everything you need to enjoy a home-cooked meal.
On the ground floor, we also have our stunning bathroom with stylish shower and WC for your convenience.
Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The main bedroom offers a calm, inviting space with soft linens and village views, and this then leads through to the second, twin bedroom - perfect for friends and families.
Please note that the twin room is only accessible via the master bedroom.
Outside, we have a lovely garden providing the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine as the village quiets down for the night.
Dove Cottage enjoys a truly special location. The centre of Stratford-upon-Avon is only a five-minute drive, where you can visit Shakespeare’s birthplace, stroll along the River Avon, enjoy a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, or dine in one of the town’s excellent restaurants.
The cottage also makes an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, Warwick Castle, and nearby market towns such as Chipping Campden and Broadway. Free street parking is available outside the cottage, and everything in the village is just a short stroll away, including a welcoming local pub and children’s play park.
Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a quiet weekend of reading and walks, or a base to explore the heritage and beauty of the region, Dove Cottage offers warmth, comfort, and a touch of village charm. Once you arrive, you may find it hard to leave!
