Historic Luxury Villa with Panoramic Lake Como Views – Villa Gina
Perched in the serene Valle Intelvi, on the border of Argegno, Villa Gina is a historic masterpiece blending aristocratic heritage with timeless elegance. Built in 1766 by Countess Gina and later featured in Stendhal’s La Certosa di Parma, this fully restored villa showcases original stuccoes, frescoed walls, handmade tiles, rare marbles, and exquisite 17th-century tapestries.
The villa spans 800 square meters and offers a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views of Lake Como. Inside, the ground floor features a large terrace, a spacious living room, a fireplace lounge, an elegant dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. Three air-conditioned bedrooms each boast natural silk panels, antique furniture, and views of the lake or surrounding mountains, complemented by three refined bathrooms.
Villa Gina is adorned with Italian artworks, silk tapestries, and historical furniture, reflecting its rich heritage. Outdoors, guests can relax in the all-season flower gardens, admire antique fountains and sculptures, or enjoy meals in the barbecue area. Premium linens, towels, toiletries, and a welcome breakfast basket are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available. Public parking is accessible nearby. This villa is ideal for travelers seeking history, culture, and luxury in one of Italy’s most enchanting settings.
PLEASE NOTE: The property requires the payment of a SECURITY DEPOSIT. The deposit must be paid at the time of the ONLINE CHECK-IN by credit card. Once the villa is checked after departure and deemed in good condition, the amount will be refunded to the same credit card used for payment within 5-7 working days after check-out.

In Argegno there is also the Lido, where you can cool down on hot summer days. A few minutes from the flat is the renowned restaurant Crotto dei Platani, in Brienno.
