The island's coastline is dotted with picturesque coves and stunning beaches, such as Fanari, Spilia, and Barbarezou, each providing a perfect setting for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling in the warm Mediterranean waters. The sea around Meganisi is also a sailor's paradise, with calm bays and gentle breezes making it ideal for yachting and boating enthusiasts.
Meganisi's small size encourages exploration by foot or bicycle, allowing visitors to discover the island's natural beauty at a leisurely pace. Olive groves, pine forests, and wildflowers create a scenic backdrop for hikes and leisurely strolls, while the island's traditional villages, such as Vathy, Katomeri, and Spartochori, offer a glimpse into the local way of life. These villages are characterized by their narrow stone-paved alleys, whitewashed houses, and friendly tavernas serving delicious Greek cuisine.
One of the island's most enchanting attractions is the Papanikolis Cave, a sea cave that is steeped in history and legend.
