Sleeping up to 8 people, our villa is a perfect treat for all of the family. While the adults relax by the pool or enjoy dining outdoors by the BBQ, the kids can keep themselves busy playing ping pong, table football or on the PlayStation.
Perched high on the cliffs over the bay of Souda near to Chania in Crete, Villa Atmosfere is a stunning, new, designer villa with gorgeous views over the valley and sea below. Whether you are friends or family wishing to get together or you are planning a romantic holiday, the villa has been designed and equipped to cater for all of your needs.
The villa has 4 main bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and fitted wardrobes. There are 2 bedrooms having king size double beds and 2 twin bedrooms with large single beds. The twin beds can also be made into king size double beds on request. Each of the bedrooms have outstanding views over the sea and all have their own private balconies. They all have en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and 2 bedrooms also have private baths. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and are equipped with handmade bedside cabinets and furniture. Hairdryers are provided in all bedrooms.
On the lower level, there is a playroom/gym with a sofa bed . It houses a 42 inch flat screen TV and Playstation PS4 with many games built-in, a running machine and a cross trainer exercise machine. There is free WiFi available both throughout the house and all outside areas.
The main living area is on the swimming pool level and has a leather corner sofa and a dining table seating up to 8 people It has a 49 inch flat screen TV with satellite channels and a Sonos Bluetooth music system.
An Italian kitchen leads off the living area level and is fully equipped and has a central granite covered island with high stools It has a built in microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher and wine cooler.
There is a separate utility room with washing machine dryer, ironing board and iron. The villa has full air conditioning units in every room and under floor heating and heated towel rails in the bathrooms. All windows in the villa are fitted with insect screens and they have electrically operated roller shutters. All glass windows have been treated with sun reflective material to reduce summer temperatures inside the villa. Slippers and towels, including pool towels are provided for all guests.
The villa is set in fully landscaped gardens and has a solar panel heated infinity swimming pool and a separate hot tub where you can relax at the end of the day and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the valley.
The swimming pool and hot tub are surrounded by spacious terraces all having glass balconies to maximize the views. The fully tiled pool is heated by solar panels and also has an electrically operated swimming pool cover to retain the heat during the night time. The separate sunken hot tub is set in decking and has illuminated headrests,40 jets, a waterfall, LED control panel.
An outdoor shower is located next to the swimming pool entrance. There is an outside covered dining area with panoramic views which has a built in charcoal BBQ, fridge and sink. An outside games area has table football and a table tennis table (ping pong).
The villa has been designed with multiple terraces, balconies and sunbathing areas around the house and is set in lovely walled private gardens with flowers and trees and electrically operated entrance gate. A covered parking area is situated at the front of the villa. There are sunbeds available for all guests with outside seating areas and sofas all around the terraces.
Villa Atmosfere is only 5 minutes away from Kokkino Horio and the village of Plaka with tavernas and mini-markets. Ideally located between the historic Venetian cities of Chania and Rethymnon it is only 45 minutes from Chania airport. There are many options when visiting local beaches in the area. The ‘Secret Beach’ is a small secluded beach 800 meters from Kokkino Chorio and the village of Almyrida has a lovely sandy beach and is abundant with seafront restaurants and shops. This beach also offers numerous watersports activities for those guests who are more adventurous, including, diving, paddle boarding, wind surfing and sailing.The villa is perfectly situated between the city of Chania and the large town of Rethymnon and both offer historic charm and are beautiful to visit.
We highly recommend a day trip to the world famous beaches and lagoons of Balos and Elafonisi. An hour and a half away, these spectacular areas are recognized as being amongst the top beaches in the world with truly amazing and unique landscapes.
