With four bedrooms and private pool, the villa is ideal for a large family or two families sharing. Here you can experience the real Crete in a quiet authentic village, away from the crowds, but with easy access to several beautiful beaches, lovely local restaurants and all amenities only 5 minutes away.
Villa Mariolis is a new villa on two floors with the living room, kitchen, toilet and large terrace on the first floor to make the most of the lovely views. There is a large dining table in the kitchen and on the terrace for outdoor dining for up to 8 people. Downstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms have lovely views and air-conditioning. The house is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, fridge, kitchen equipment, rental licence and wifi.
On the groud floor is a large, private swimming pool also with views across the olive groves and the sea.
The village of Mariou is an authentic and quiet village on the unspoilt south coast of Crete. A five minute drive away you will find Plakias, which is a small town that offers a number of great tavernas, supermarkets, bars, pharmacies, doctor, and a lovely beach. Here you will find everything you need.
The villa is only 5-10 minutes away from some of the best beaches in Crete, including Damnoni, Ammoudi, several lovely coves and the large beach in Plakias. From Damnoni beach you can catch the boat to the famous Preveli beach with its beautiful river and palm forest. The villa is also ideally situated for hikes in the stunning countryside and for day-trips to Rodakino, the castle and shallow beach in Frangokastello, Rodakino and Chora Sfakion, where you can jump on a boat to the stunning seaside village of Loutro. Should you miss the city, Rethymno is only 40 minutes away with its many shops, restaurants and bars. At villa Mariolis you can choose to relax in stunning surroundings by your own privat pool or explore the beautiful Cretan countryside. In either case Villa Mariolis is the perfect place to experience the real Crete.
