Stay in a Mongolian yurt at Pandy Farm, set in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Surrounded by forest, open fields, and mountain views that stretch to the sea, it’s a peaceful place to slow down and breathe.
Inside, the yurt offers a simple yet comfortable setup. A log burner keeps the space cozy during cooler months, and a double-hob gas stove allows you to cook your own meals. You’ll find everything you need, including saucepans, utensils, and crockery. Solar lighting and two USB sockets are available, keeping things off-grid but practical. You can fill and reuse the bottle provided using the outdoor tap, all water should be boiled as it comes from our natural spring – straight off the mountain!
TOILET & SHOWER – The Yurt has access to a conventional outdoor loo and a full shower with hot water, just a few steps away!
BEDDING & TOWELS - Bedding or towels can be provided for an additional $15 if requested at least 24 hours before arrival.
HEATING – The only source of heat in the yurt is our cosy log burner. It’s essential for the best experience throughout winter! Please do remember to bring your own logs and kindling with you.
This property is the heart of the farm and a true haven for adventure-seekers. With its earthy charm and rustic character, it offers a genuine countryside escape for those who love nature and the simple, rugged beauty of rural life.
Access to the yurt is via a one-mile gravel track through RSPB-protected oak woodland, part of a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The track is steep with a hairpin turn, so a 4×4 is essential, especially in winter. Vans cannot access the site.
The farm is a short drive from Dolgellau, a small market town with shops, cafés, and local walks. From here, you can explore Snowdonia’s trails, forests, and beaches, or simply take time to rest and enjoy the quiet.
