In 15 minutes you can reach: Porta Torre, one of the historical entrances to the walled city; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth visiting.
