On the ground floor of a modern residence, less than 10 minutes from the beach by car, this holiday home is an ideal base for friends or family. The apartment can sleep up to 6 people and is well-equipped for a stress-free holiday.
The entrance is via an attractive hallway with rooms leading off a central corridor. The spacious, open-plan living room includes a large sofa, a flat-screen TV, as well as an elegant dining table and a wood-burning stove. A glass door opens onto a private balcony, furnished with comfortable armchairs and a coffee table, so guests can enjoy drinks al fresco.
Back inside, through an archway by the dining area, there is a separate kitchen. The smart fitted kitchen is equipped with a cooker and induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, kettle, drip coffee machine and fridge/freezer, plus a small breakfast bar for quick snacks.

Bedroom 1: The light-filled bedroom has a double bed and a large, fitted wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom has a double bed and an upper bunk bed. This has a maximum load of 100kg, so is suitable for 2 children. There is also a wardrobe.

Location
The Medieval heart of Koper (10 minutes) and Titov trg (Titov Square) with its Venetian-style architecture is a fascinating place to explore. Koper was once part of the Venetian Empire and this has left its mark on the town. The narrow streets of the historical centre offer some excellent restaurants and cafés. Visitors can also take advantage of the regular ferry services from Koper to Venice (3 hours) and arrive in the city by sea, a breathtaking experience.
There are many wonderful beaches along the coast, including Zusterna Beach (8 minutes) and the beach at Punta Grossa nature reserve (17 minutes). Further along the coast is the charming harbour town of Izola (12 minutes). One of the oldest settlements on the coast it is packed with history and has a lively marina. Visitors can hire kayaks and paddle boards to explore this stunning coastline.
Away from the coast, the area is famous for its rock formations, caves and subterranean rivers. Skocjan Caves (25 minutes) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spectacular series of caves, stalagmites and stalactites.
For self-catering, Koper’s daily farmers’ market is just 11 minutes away. Here you will find the best, freshest local ingredients.
The closest airport is Trieste, Italy, which is a 50-minute drive. Alternatively, Ljubljana Airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes.
