At day’s end, return via the same run and walk back to the home.
To access Lionshead Village on foot, walk 0.4 miles down Forest Road to the Marriott Hotel bus stop, or 0.5 miles to the village center. Vail’s in-town buses are free and run frequently between Lionshead and Vail Village, located just 1 mile apart. A car is helpful for grocery runs or exploring farther afield—garage and driveway parking are available for 4 vehicles total.
