After a long beach day, you can rinse the sand off in the enclosed outdoor shower. Step inside the ground-level game room which features a pool table, flat screen TV/DVD, and a wet bar with microwave and mini-fridge. Then take a tour of the nearby Whalehead Club along the Currituck Sound which was once a hunting club in the early 1900s. If you own a 4WD vehicle, continue north along Hwy. 12 until the road turns to sand and take a leisurely stroll along Carova Beach where you might spot a Corolla Wild Mustang roaming the beach.
