When you enter on the middle level of this gorgeous home in Duck, you’ll be greeted by brilliant, bright walls reminding you to enjoy your vacation because this is a time of peace and relaxation. This floor holds three spacious bedrooms for everyone in your family group to get snuggled in and comfortable. Relax in the King Master Bedroom with Bathroom, the Queen Bedroom, or the Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds. Take a step out onto the deck to be surrounded by nature and enjoy your morning coffee to the sounds of the Outer Banks waking up. A Full Hallway Bathroom sits in the center, ensuring comfort is only a few steps away, and the Washer/Dryer on this floor makes washing up a breeze!
Head on upstairs to enjoy beautiful views from the spacious deck, watching the sun rise over the trees from your cozy Adirondack chairs. Inside, curl up with a book in the Lounge Area or gather the family together on the comfortable couches of the Living Area to plan the next days adventures or watch a movie. Cook up your favorite seafood dish in the modern Kitchen for everyone to enjoy under natural light in the Dining Area, which seats 8, or at the Breakfast Bar, which seats 3.
On the ground level, you’ll find Covered Parking and an Outdoor Shower after a day at the beach, which you can access from Sanderling Resort’s private beach access. Hang out downstairs in the comfy Outdoor Lounge Area or snooze in the Hammock. Impress the family with your skills by grilling up some fresh, local NC seafood on the Park Grill before heading to bed and doing it all again tomorrow. This beautiful oceanside cottage will certainly change your point of view as you enjoy the beauty that Outer Banks has to offer.
The Pristine, Private Beach of Duck, NC
Drive, bring your bikes, or walk on the pedestrian path to downtown Duck and enjoy all the town has to offer. This convenient location is only a 5-minute drive to the Village of Duck where you’ll find fresh seafood, a gourmet market, a produce stand, women’s boutiques, bike rentals, amazing restaurants, water sports gear, outdoor clothing, great bookstores, toy stores, art galleries, gift shops and so much more. All of the stores are locally owned and operated and so close together that shopping can be an all-day event on foot! Scarborough Faire Shopping Center features unique shops and eateries, and also delicious restaurants like Fishbones Raw Bar & Restaurant and Roadside Bar & Grill! For more upscale dining there is the Blue Point Grill, the Paper Canoe, and, of course, the Sanderling Resort. Or opt to head south to the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island and have lunch on the way back at Johns Drive-In, a classic drive-in shack (open May-October) specializing in thick milkshakes, burgers, and fried fish sandwiches located at milepost 4.5. Go North to visit the lighthouse, play a round of mini-golf, enjoy some ice cream or see the Wild Horses of Corolla, take lots of pictures. But remember… don’t feed or approach the horses!
BEACH AND SOUND ACCESS: Beach access is available using Boardwalks 5 through 11. Access to the Currituck Sound is available at the pier and boat ramp located at the Sanderling Racquet and Swim Club. All other piers and beach or sound access locations are private property.
