This gorgeous cottage is nestled nearly in the sand and is perfect for that beach-focused vacation that gives you the chance to refresh and recharge as you take in the sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. With 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 Bathrooms, Geri’s Place #7 promises ultimate relaxation in a beachy atmosphere while still ensuring that everyone in your family group has plenty of room to stretch out and catch some z’s before heading to the beach for an exciting day with your toes in the sand.
Relax in the Living Area when you step inside and enjoy family movie night surrounded by the beautiful wood paneling on the walls. Cook up some fresh, local seafood in the nearby modern Kitchen with standard appliances for everyone to enjoy together in the Dining Area, which has seating for 7, or at the counter bar, with stool seating for 4 more. Take your cup of coffee or your favorite beach read out onto the Screened-In Porch where you can enjoy fresh ocean breezes from the comfort of your own space.
When you’re ready to get some sleep, choose from the Bedroom with 2 Double Beds, the Bedroom with 2 Twin Beds, or the Queen Bedroom for ultimate comfort. There’s plenty of space for everyone to get their own bed while still being close and enjoying a family vacation. There’s also a Full Hallway Bathroom and an additional Half Bathroom just down the hall so that everyone has access to what they need. Be sure to use the stacked Washer/Dryer located nearby to keep those towels free of sand.
When you’re ready to enjoy the perks of staying close to the ocean, take the stairs up to the top of the Crow’s Nest where you can enjoy spectacular views of the ocean or head straight for the beach, which is just steps away from your front door. Be sure to take advantage of the Community Pool and Playground when you’re ready for some fun shoreside. Whip up something yummy on the Charcoal Grill and don’t forget to rinse off in the Outdoor Shower before making your way upstairs. Geri’s Place #7 has everything you need to enjoy all the best of what makes the Outer Banks special and you’ll find yourself bringing your family back year after year to enjoy this amazing location.
So Much to See in Beautiful South Nags Head
The location of this cottage in South Nags Head makes it easy to relax in the peaceful and natural surroundings, grab some food from Nags Head’s renowned restaurants, or pick up a souvenir from a local retailer! You’re just a short drive away from great restaurants, historic sites, and other local attractions. Less than 3 miles down the road, be sure to visit the Bodie Island Lighthouse and climb to the top for a 360-degree view of the surrounding sound and marshland. Take the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge over Oregon Inlet and spend the day exploring Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge on nearby Hatteras Island or rent a charter out of Oregon Inlet and spend the day on the water trying to reel in the big one. If you prefer to stay on land, try visiting the nearby Outer Banks Fishing Pier where after casting out a line, you can stop in the pier’s restaurant—Fish Heads—to sample fresh, local seafood or enjoy a cold drink and live entertainment after dinner. There are also several historic sites nearby that the whole family will enjoy including Jennette’s Pier, where you can walk 1,000-ft out over the Atlantic Ocean, and Jockey’s Ridge, where you can hike the tallest living sand dune on the East Coast. Take a day trip to the historic town of Manteo to visit the Elizabethan Gardens, NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island, or explore the downtown waterfront area with unique shops and local boutiques. It’s also easy to drive to the main area of Nags Head or head north towards Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk for more great dining and shopping options.
