The Abbey Vineyard Property has a beautiful young vineyard nestled on an eleven-acre plot, filled with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains, vast landscapes, and is surrounded by Walla Walla’s top south side vineyards and wineries. This property is an ideal spot for wine enthusiasts.
The long driveway leads to the historic house, where you’ll find ample parking and an inviting front porch. The home was originally a church in Milton-Freewater Oregon, hence the name "The Abbey". It was moved to the location it sits now where it was meticulously remodeled into the home it is today.
The property boasts a large, open and updated kitchen, connected to the living area via a stone counter with barstools. The living room has comfortable furniture and a gas fireplace to keep the main living room with vaulted ceilings warm and cozy. An upstairs loft media room with sitting area overlooks the open concept living room below. There is a lovely separate dining room on the main level with views of the vineyard and the Blues.
Also included on the property is a detached, private king studio apartment with separate bathroom with shower, kitchenette and mini split HVAC system that offers heating and cooling.
Out the backdoor of the main house is a patio with a barbeque grill and dining table and chairs, plus a place to lounge in the Adirondack chairs while enjoying a picturesque sunset.
While strolling the grounds you might find some wild raspberries, on your way to the charming “Glasshouse”. The Glasshouse is equipped with a mini split unit and has the perfect ambiance to enjoy a wine tasting or a meal with family and friends.
There are many wineries within walking distance; Patterson, Caprio, Pepper Bridge, Northstar, Brook + Bull, Kinhaven, and Deux Soldat.
A trip into town takes only ten minutes, where you can find amazing restaurants and tasting rooms. The Abbey Vineyard Property provides great opportunities to experience Walla Walla while relaxing, enjoying food, wine and beautiful landscapes. We hope you enjoy your stay.
