A spectacular and spacious Trapp Family Lodge double villa with expansive alpine views and amenities galore!
Upon entry, the sleek kitchen captures your attention and makes preparing meals a delight with high-end appliances and a breakfast bar with seating for four. The ktichen flows directly into a beautiful dining area with a spectacular statement table that seats twelve. An adjacent three-season sun porch and stone patio—complete with built-in gas firepit—are ideal spots for morning coffee or evening cocktails. The living room is separated from the dining area by a stunning double-sided gas fireplace while the incredibly comfy furnishings invite the whole gang to gather. An adjacent den with a pull-out couch, a wet bar, and a game table is perfect to escape for a movie or big game.
One guest room with a custom full-over-queen bunk bed and lovely ensuite bathroom is located on the main level. Three more bedrooms are found on the second level—a room with a double and twin bed shares a spacious full bath with a king-bedded guest room. The fabulous king-bedded primary bedroom boasts its own ensuite complete with huge walk-in shower and barrel-style soaking tub. The radiant heated floors in the bathrooms will keep your toes toasty. Exquisite décor, linens, cozy nooks, and soft touches flow throughout the villa for all your guests to each have their favorite spot. The built-in storage in the mudroom will fit all your gear (plus a Ski locker in the garage). An additional feature of the home includes a double carport with an EV port!
This Trapp Villa is a Stowe destination within itself! During your stay, enjoy full complimentary access to all the resort has to offer—miles of hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country ski trails, tennis, croquet pitch, two swimming pools, hot tub, sauna, 18-hole disc golf, rock climbing wall, and a fitness center! Yoga classes, massage therapy, and sleigh rides are also available for a fee. All 2,500 pastoral and wooded acres of the property have been thoughtfully planned and cared for—don’t miss the self-guided offerings, Music in the Meadow, and sampling a cold one at von Trapp Brewery. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy one of the many dining options—the Bierhall and Kaffeehaus are favorites! A complimentary resort shuttle is also available. Of course, the rest of Stowe has so much to offer if only you can pull yourself away!
