A quaint and cozy home in Stowe for an idyllic Vermont getaway.
This darling chalet has been lovingly refreshed for comfort yet retains its original charm. Warm wood elements flow throughout each floor of this home and add a perfect sense of coziness. The galley style kitchen is efficient and well-stocked and flows through to a dining area and the comfy living room. Welcoming furnishings in deep blue hues and ski and snowboard motif fabric accents add a pop of whimsy while the wood burning stove adds warmth. Cathedral ceilings lift the eye upward to the bonus loft space and a sliding door leads out to the deck with leafy views to mixed hardwoods, which promise a splash of color in the fall.
With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this home is convenient for a family. The lovely main floor bedroom has a euro feel with crisp, clean linens, barn doors to the closet, and clean floor space. A bathroom with a walk-in shower is located adjacent for convenience. Two more guest rooms and a shared 3/4 bath are located on the lower walk-out level. Each bedroom features a twin over double bunk bed. The balance of this spacious level offers a den area with leather sectional, TV, wood-burning stove, a foosball table, and treadmill—workout or kick back, it’s up to you! Sliding glass doors lead to a patio with a hot tub and a firepit area beyond.
