Welcome to Cozy Villager, where vintage charm meets modern comfort. Built in 1852 and located in the historic section of Stowe Village, this beautiful 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home is a short walk from everywhere. Leave the car parked and walk to everything Stowe has to offer: maple lattes, craft beer bars, local restaurants, ice cream and more! Walk to Town Hall with your skis and take the free Mountain Road shuttle (winter only) straight to the slopes. Traveling with a pet? Wake up and walk across the street for one of Vermont’s best dog friendly trails, the Quiet Path, and stroll directly into the Village for a coffee.
Step inside this 1852 farmhouse and you’ll immediately know why it’s one of our favorites! A newly remodeled mudroom with radiant heat to keep your coats and skis warm, beautiful hardwood floors, a thoughtfully updated kitchen with a Viking range, and a cozy and welcoming layout. Enjoy your meals at the kitchen island, in the dining room, or outside on the private screened in back porch in Adirondack chairs. Take in views of Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak from the living room sectional while you relax and plan your next adventure. Located upstairs is an updated bathroom featuring a custom vanity from a local artisan and another heated floor for those cool autumn mornings. Both the main and guest bedrooms feature views of our local slopes (including Bolton Mountain and Camels Hump on a clear day), updated queen beds and storage, and are ideal for relaxation and recharging for another day of adventure. You’ll also appreciate the convenience of the stackable washer/dryer located on the upper level.
Whether you’re hitting the slopes, scouting fall foliage, exploring the shops and restaurants, or simply relaxing, the Cozy Villager is the perfect family and dog-friendly Stowe home away from home.
