Privacy and pleasing vistas are the highlights of this Stowe Hollow home.
Pinnacle Lookout is aptly named for the incredible vistas to be enjoyed of the Worcester Range and The Pinnacle—a wooded trail that climbs, steeply at times, to a rocky outcropping boasting massive views from Stowe to Waterbury, a favorite hike for locals and visitors alike. This home is in the coveted Stowe Hollow neighborhood, just a short walk from the covered bridge known as Emily’s Bridge. The locale provides easy access to the village and Mount Mansfield beyond.
The main level of the home features an open living plan. The living area is comfortable and invites conversation in front of the wood-burning fireplace while the adjacent sunroom has an additional seating area, TV, telescope, and wall of windows allowing warm light inward and expansive views outward—a fabulous spot to enjoy the evening alpenglow on the mountain range. A dining area with a door to the large deck connects the seating area to the kitchen. Here, even doing the dishes is a delight with a picture window offering unobstructed views. This level is rounded out with a full bath and two guest bedrooms, one of which has a pull-out couch and full bed that can also do double duty as an office or game room.
The upper level of the home is reserved solely for the very private primary suite with a queen bed, sitting area, full bath with a separate tub and shower, and walk-in closet—a great escape at the end of a day of fun-filled adventure. A bonus rec room with seating and a ping pong table is in the lower level of the home with loads of space to hang out and play.
