Quiet, good views and a swimming pool are great reasons to spend a holiday with a ‘direct connection’ to the countryside.
Set in a plot with two twin houses, this property offers comfort and well-being for you and your companions. With three bedrooms: two with a double bed and one with two single beds, the house have a maximum capacity of 8 people, thanks to the double sofa bed available in the living room.
The room is large and has been decorated in detail, thinking of the functionality and comfort of the guests.
The kitchen, in open space mode, has all the necessary utensils to cook your meals.
Outside is the “icing on the cake”: a fantastic swimming pool set in a large lawn area where you will surely spend your days with fun and happiness.
A space like this calls for long lunches and barbecues with family or friends. You can make your daily barbecues in the excellent interior space, designed for lovers of good grills!
If you rent a car, you can park inside the property.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
This property is located in the west of Madeira Island, in the parish of Ponta do Pargo, municipality of Calheta. Being in a more secluded area, you will not find any kind of commerce in the vicinity of the property.
Forty minutes by car are Porto Moniz’s famous swimming pools. Nearby you can visit the Ponta do Pargo lighthouse, which is an 8-minute drive away.
In Prazeres area you can find a market and restaurants.
In the municipality of Calheta you can visit the museum installed in the ’Casa das Mudas’ or take a dip in the sandy beach, right in the center of the village. There you will find a medium-sized supermarket and several restaurants serving regional and international cuisine.
GETTING AROUND
The best option to get to the property is by transfer. Ask us to arrange one with our local partners. It’s cheaper than the cabs you’ll find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app will easily find the address.

- According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card).
- Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior to arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team.
- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties.
ATTENTION
Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Calheta. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
