Stunningly perched atop a sand dune overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Michigan, this beautifully renovated beach cottage offers the ultimate escape. Set on five private acres with 200 feet of secluded beachfront just down the staircase, it’s the perfect place to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
Tucked away at the end of a quarter-mile driveway, the home sits between the charming towns of Manistee (5 miles) and Onekama (8 miles), giving you easy access to shopping, dining, boat rentals, and local festivals. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate proximity to Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club (16 miles), Crystal Mountain Resort (27 miles), Portage Lake, cross-country ski trails, and scenic hiking routes.
During summer, make the most of the home’s outdoor spaces—from the expansive deck overlooking the lake to your own private beach. Enjoy morning paddles in the two provided kayaks, relaxing beach days, or a peaceful evening under the stars. Additional outdoor amenities include a Weber grill, a beach umbrella and chairs, two adult life jackets, and a backpack cooler.
Originally built in 1964, the cottage was completely and thoughtfully renovated in 2023. Inside, you’ll find an upscale, open-concept design featuring wood, stone, and stainless steel finishes, as well as radiant floor heating for winter comfort. Cozy up by the electric fireplace, stream your favorite shows, or prepare meals in a chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances—including a Thor range, Moccamaster coffee maker, milk frother, NutriBullet blender, and toaster.
After a day in the sun, rinse off and toss swimsuits in the laundry room, open the windows, and enjoy the cool lake breeze with fans in each bedroom. Please note: this home does not have air conditioning.
