Escape to this stunning waterfront property, nestled amidst lush trees and offering direct lake access with a private dock. (Boat house and owners boat are not available for guest use.) Enjoy cozy evenings by the fire pit surrounded by nature or relax on the expansive deck overlooking the peaceful landscape. The spacious brick home boasts modern comforts, ample outdoor living spaces, and the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience for an unforgettable lakeside retreat.
- The house is located on a quiet street, please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise levels low.
- Do not run air conditioning with doors open.
- Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out.
- Parties are not allowed, and will not be tolerated. Guests who violate quiet hours (9pm-8am) will be notified once, and then asked to leave on the second violation.
-Guests have access to the left side of the dock when using the home. There is no boat launch on
the property, but there are nearby launches in the area.
-Guests ARE allowed to have a boat trailer on the property.
-There is a golf-cart available for guest use( 18 and up ONLY) , guest must contact property management group in getting permission, sending a photo of drivers license, and code will be given to get the golf-cart key.
-Heating & Air: The thermostat is in the dining room. When you leave, please set the temper to 72 degrees in summer and 65 degrees in fall/winter.
- Please DO NOT feed the wild animals such as: Geese, deer, squirrels, etc. If you see any geese down at the water, please run them off! They make a huge mess in the grass and we do our best to keep the area clean for our guests.
- No Pets Allowed
- Fireplaces are not to be used by guests
- Coffee Maker (Regular & Keurig)
-Propane (for grill use):
1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house.
2. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill.
3. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it.
4. We DO NOT provide propane refills.
We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You’ll be provided an access code to the front entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform messaging during the duration of your stay.
Claytor Lake State Park:
~5 miles (~10 minutes by car).

From I81S take Exit 101 for State Rt. 660 toward Claytor Lake State Park.
Turn left onto State Route 660 toward Claytor Lake State Park.
In 1.3 miles turn left onto State Route 661 Dunkard Rd.
In 1 mile turn left onto gravel drive that is between two brick homes.
Go to the end of the drive and The Lake House will be on the left at 6716 Dunkard Rd.
Parking is on the right side of home in driveway.
