Emplacement
The accommodation is located in the north of the 13th arrondissement, on the border with the 5th (a stone’s throw from Mouffetard and its charming culinary addresses, but also from the Jardin des Plantes and the Jardin du Luxembourg). To the south, the Butte aux Cailles district (15 minutes’ walk) has a charming, bucolic atmosphere, while to the south-west, the Asian quarter is striking for its exotic character, and further along the Seine, the BNF district attracts visitors for its exotic modernity. The Montparnasse district is also very close by, with its timeless and exhilarating atmosphere. The location is therefore at the crossroads of different atmospheres, with an appreciable authenticity and a calm that is hardly monotonous but, on the contrary, lively. Everything is close at hand: a shopping centre at Place d’Italie (5 minutes‘ walk), high-quality bakeries, two cinemas (5 minutes’ walk), the Manufacture des Gobelins (2 minutes‘ walk), a charming little park to cool off in the summer (Square René le Gall, 5 minutes’ walk), very good restaurants in a variety of styles.
