Welcome to Coastmere, a luxury coastal retreat tucked away in a quiet part of Rye on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Just over 1km from the bay beach and set across three levels, this relaxed holiday home offers everything you need for a beach escape. Ideal for families or small groups, Coastmere sleeps up to eight guests comfortably, with multiple living zones, three bathrooms, and a solar-heated pool.
The name Coastmere comes from ’mere’, an old word for a calm body of water and reflects the gentle, unhurried feel of this coastal escape: a place to settle in and truly relax.
The Accommodation:
Spread across three levels, Coastmere gives everyone the space they need to relax, whether it’s gathering in the living areas or enjoying a bit of quiet time.
Master bedroom (first floor): King bed with ensuite and smart TV.
Second bedroom (top floor): Two single beds
Third bedroom (top floor): Queen bed
Fourth bedroom (lower ground): King singles (can be configured as a king) with ensuite.
All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bedrooms one, two, and three also have split-system heating and cooling.

Family bathroom (top floor): Shower, bath, and toilet
Ensuite (master): Double shower, toilet, and double vanity
Ensuite (lower ground): Shower, toilet, and vanity
Powder room (first floor) next to the laundry
All bathrooms feature heated towel rails.
Living & Kitchen Spaces:
There are two living areas, one is located near the master bedroom that’s perfect for a quiet read or movie night, and the main lounge which features a smart TV, comfy couches, a ceiling fan and a split system. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light and open directly onto the pool and outdoor entertaining area.
The kitchen is a standout , featuring a curved timber-panelled island, soft wood tones, and a clean modern finish that balances coastal charm with functionality. It’s fully equipped with an induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a SodaStream. There’s plenty of bench space and a butler’s pantry complete with a Nespresso coffee machine, giving you everything you need to cook, entertain, or graze in comfort. The open-plan layout means you’re never far from the conversation, and the island bench is perfect for morning coffees and shared platters.
The dining table seats eight and is located close to the kitchen and the large sliding doors that lead to the outdoor entertaining area.
Outdoors:
Step outside to the solar-heated pool, alfresco dining area, and a feature outdoor fireplace a favourite spot for cooler evenings. The outdoor space is private and relaxed, with manicured lawn and garden beds, creating a peaceful and private setting for lazy afternoons, shared meals, and family BBQs.

Take a coastal walk along the clifftops at Number 16 Beach or enjoy a family-friendly stroll along Rye foreshore.
