The city's historic center, adorned with Dutch colonial architecture painted in bright hues, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that provides a picturesque backdrop for exploration.
The Handelskade is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. This row of brightly colored buildings along the harbor is perfect for leisurely strolls where you can admire the architecture, visit shops and cafes, and watch ships pass by.
The Queen Emma Bridge, also known as the "Swinging Old Lady," is another must-see. This floating pedestrian bridge connects the Punda and Otrobanda neighborhoods across Sint Anna Bay and swings open to allow boats to pass through.
