Home details
Hidden within the winding alleys of Marrakech’s historic Kasbah district, Riad Chafai offers a serene counterpoint to the city’s vibrant energy. Step through its carved wooden doors and you’re met by soft white archways, leafy palms, and the gentle trickle of the central courtyard fountain. The riad flows elegantly from room to room, combining traditional Moroccan design with subtle contemporary touches. Each of the eight bedrooms has its own personality, but all share a sense of calm with tadelakt bathrooms, colourful textiles, and views onto the soothing courtyard.
Head up to the roof terrace and you’ll find a peaceful spot for morning mint tea or golden-hour lounging by the plunge pool. From shaded dining tables to inviting sunbeds and breezy sitting corners, this is where the city below melts away. The heated pool is available year-round, making the terrace a true sanctuary in every season.
Tucked just a short walk from the Bahia and Badi Palaces, and only fifteen minutes from the airport, Riad Chafai is perfectly placed to discover the magic of Marrakech, while having a beautifully curated retreat to return to each day.

This vibrant marketplace, also known as Spice Square, is a sensory overload with its array of colors, scents, and sounds that epitomize the exotic charm of Morocco.
Visitors to Rahba Kedima will find themselves surrounded by a plethora of spice stalls, where heaps of cumin, saffron, and ras el hanout create a painter's palette of hues and an olfactory tapestry that is quintessentially Moroccan. The square is not only a place to buy spices but also a variety of other goods, including traditional Moroccan textiles, leather goods, and beautifully crafted pottery.
