Discover Casa Agrumi, an extraordinary 13th-century watchtower reborn as an intimate retreat and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The moment you arrive, be captivated by sweeping views of Positano Bay and the glistening sea. The ancient stone walls, relics of centuries past, blend beautifully with elegant air-conditioned interiors ensuring an experience that is both evocative and thoroughly comfortable.
The main bedroom occupies the historic tower itself, accompanied by a private bathroom with shower. It’s a beautiful bedroom with a king-size four-poster bed, sofas and a glimpse of the sea from its small window. Separate to the tower, near the main terrace, a colourful little annexe features an open kitchenette and sofa-bed (suitable for a third adult or teenager aged 14+) as well as a second shower room.
Step outside and you’ll find yourself on one of the two gorgeous terraces whether enjoying fresh bread and pastries that are delivered each morning, soaking up the historic ambience on the sun loungers or dining al-fresco accompanied by local wine as the sun dips below the horizon.
Casa Agrumi is part of a wonderful gated complex, where citrus and olive groves flourish alongside Mediterranean plants amid terraced gardens across the cliffside facing the sea. Shared with four other residences, you’ll have access to a stunning shared swimming pool, ingeniously built around a former fountain, with views that drop dramatically to the sea beyond. Further rugged steps lead down to a secluded beach with crystalline water - in July and August, a beach bar is set up on summer afternoons.
Positano itself is a dazzling jewel of the Amalfi Coast. Its pastel-hued houses tumble down steep cliffs, offering picture-postcard vistas from every angle. Wander the narrow alleys lined with artisan shops, sample fresh seafood at charming trattorie, or charter a boat to explore hidden grottos and neighbouring Capri.
