Welcome to Chasing Clouds Cabin! This newly constructed 4 bedroom home is situated perfectly between Boone and West Jefferson, NC, and is in close proximity to the infamous New River!
This home offers 4 private bedrooms spread out amongst the three levels. The main level offers a spacious layout with plenty of room to entertain the family between the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The expansive deck located just off the living room offers stunning views of the rolling mountains off in the distance. The lower level of the home features an additional living area, complete with an air hockey table and a 65" flat screen TV!
The neighborhood offers its own private access to the New River! Head down the hill and float away with river tubes, kayaks or canoes, or bike along the popular Railroad Grade Road.

Enjoy a sunny day on the New River using Zaloo’s Canoes, Kayaks, and Tubes. Public put-in locations are nearby, as well for those bringing their own kayaks!

- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- The road leading to this home is moderately steep in some places and gravel. While accessing the home in spring, summer, and fall seasons should be a breeze, 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter months. It is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This home offers ample level parking on a paved surface.
- Returning renters to this home can receive a 5% discount. Not to be stacked with any other offers.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
